Hack-Epochie 2k24 Overview:

Hack-Epochie 2k24 invites developers, innovators, and tech enthusiasts to join a two-stage, fully online hackathon event. Showcase your skills and problem-solving abilities for a chance to secure exciting job and internship opportunities at Epochie, along with cash prizes and exclusive goodies for winners. All participants will also receive a certificate of participation.

Hackathon Format and Process Format:
Round 1: PPT Submission

Submit a project proposal presentation in PDF format through Unstop.

Include a single, clear sentence summarizing the project’s core concept.

Submission Deadline: November 12, 2024.

Round 2: Prototype Submission

Participants who pass Round 1 will proceed to develop and present a working prototype.

Submit a demo video (less than 5 minutes) showcasing the prototype’s features through Unstop.

Upload the project code to GitHub, ensuring that a detailed README provides full documentation of the prototype.

Live Hackathon: November 16, 2024 (9 PM) to November 17, 2024 (9 PM).

Hackathon Process:

Registration: Open until November 11, 2024. Complete the form on the official Unstop page for Hack-Epochie 2k24.

Round 1 Submission (PPT): Submit the PDF of your project’s PPT through Unstop by November 12, 2024.

Round 2 (Prototype): Selected teams participate in the final hackathon and submit their demo video and GitHub repository link via Unstop.

Judging and Results: The judging panel will review submissions, and winners will be announced on Unstop on November 25, 2024.

Platform:

All activities, submissions, and communications for Hack-Epochie 2k24 will be conducted online on Unstop (formerly Dare2Compete). This platform will manage team registrations, submissions, and results announcements, ensuring a streamlined experience for participants.

Eligibility Criteria:

Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from recognized universities.

Teams can consist of 2 - 6 members.

Inter-college and inter-specialization teams are encouraged, fostering a collaborative and diverse skill set.

Submission Format:

Round 1 PPT: PDF format submitted through Unstop.

Round 2 Prototype: Video demo (max 5 minutes) and GitHub repository link submitted through Unstop.

Originality: Projects must be original. Plagiarism or use of existing projects will result in disqualification.

Time Commitment: Teams are expected to complete their projects during the hackathon hours.

Conduct: All participants must adhere to the hackathon’s code of conduct, promoting respectful and inclusive collaboration.

Eligibility Requirements:

Participants must be current students in any undergraduate or postgraduate program.

Team members can be from different colleges or specializations.
